This place is the perfect brunch spot before the yelp app took off, lol.
No frills, nothing to take a picture of, and cash only. But the service, food, and environment are excellent.
Highly recommend if you also feel ambivalent about how the millennial generation judges things -

Exactly what you want from a simple, friendly, surprisingly quick diner feel restaurant. Simple breakfast menu, great prices, no surprises--you get a great bang for your buck. Not a 5 star restaurant and certainly not a dive kitchen--it's Steve's Kitchen. Cozy, no fuss eatery for a quick omelet or blueberry pancake. Anything you order will be cheaper than you think (most things are well under $10)
I ordered the 2 egg special--with corn beef hash. Not homemade corn beef hash, but for the price you get what you order. Comes with toast, home fries and coffee or tea. Underwhelming home fries, and my over medium eggs were more overeasy, but still a good (not amazing) $7.75 meal
We also got a simple cheese omelet and substituted home fries for regular French fries (we call it a greasy spoon breakfast) and it was fairly good too -

This was a perfect breakfast solution within walking distance of our weekend home....Steve's is a perfectly unassuming restaurant with affordable menu options. The menu is simple, and they serve breakfast all day. We shared the blueberry pancakes and corned beef hash....both were quite delicious. It's hard to find enormously perfect pancakes with blueberries on the inside....not so sure why, but these were so so good!!
My only complaint is that our table, menu, and condiments were all sticky and a little grimy. Nothing that will deter me from coming back, but I think if they went over everything with a hot towel, that stickiness will go away! -

This place was a classic "greasy spoon" spot. If you're into that you'll love it here. It was like going back in time to when I used to go out to breakfast with my dad as a kid. Even the prices were great. I ended up getting the three eggs with gyro meat. It comes with toast and home fries for about 8 bucks. I like to look around for local spots when I'm visiting a new area and this place was about as local as it gets. The crew seemed to know a lot of the patrons on a first name basis which is always a great indication it's a true local spot! My only negative was that the coffee refills could have been a little more frequent. That being said, they were very busy the morning I was there so I can't really fault the crew, they were doing the best they could.

I wish I could have liked this place! I love small, local, family-run businesses.
Staff here are SO welcoming. Extensive menu with typical diner-like options. I got the two eggs dish, sister got french toast with side of bacon. Besides the bacon (which was average), everything was incredibly underwhelming...soggy toast, unseasoned potatoes, and burnt french toast that was somehow also soggy and wet. They also forgot my coffee, which was supposed to be part of the eggs order.
For the price though, can't say I'm super upset. I'm also glad to have supported a local business even if was just one morning, but I will most likely not be returning.
